The value for money at this Bed & Breakfast was great, with a comfortable and clean room that was quiet too. The location in the historic center was perfect for easy access to hiking trails, restaurants, and sites. The staff, especially Margherita, went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic experience, providing proactive service and recommendations.
Breakfast choices could be improved with a bit more variety.

The rooms at Gradelle San Nicola were absolutely amazing! I loved the cozy seating area where I could relax and watch my favorite shows on the flat-screen TV. The private bathroom was well-stocked with free toiletries, making me feel pampered during my stay. As a bike rider, staying in a room with a tile/marble floor was an added bonus, as it made it easy for me to clean up after a day of exploring Matera.
I personally didn't love the private entrance in the triple room. It felt a bit isolated and made me miss the social aspect of staying in a hotel.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
